So many cookbooks have tried to do what the Saucy Broad does--to give us a truly narrative look into how all these recipes interlace with their lives, how their own personal likes and dislikes play into it, as well as how their own life story and personal history comes into play. The result is a cookbook that can seriously be read from cover to cover, and which leaves you wanting to make ALL of the recipes contained therein. I also appreciate that it does tell me HOW MUCH cheese exactly to put on that sandwich or how much salt in that casserole. This is a cookbook for people who like to be in the kitchen and who like to be creative in the kitchen.
FIVE STARS!
