(More customer reviews)I have known Kathy as a librarian and storyteller since we first moved to New Mexico 6 years ago. When I heard that she had written a book about reading resources of New Mexico I could not wait to be able to peruse it page by page. We are a homeschooling family and are always looking for ways to incorporate community resources into our studies. This book has ideas on every page and is one of the best references for all things New Mexico. I read it from cover to cover gleaning projects, recipes, celebration ideas and more and adding them to our list of 'must dos' this year. I honestly think this lists every known New Mexico resource for children K-12. My only wish is that it had more books written in Navajo-but perhaps that is just a result of too few books in that language. I would highly recommend (and have already) this book to educators everywhere.
