This is straight-forward and easy to use. The recipes I've tried have all been very tasty, and though these are traditional foods they aren't boring. I especially like the meatloaf, fish and chips and Monte Cristo sandwich recipes. Though I often get recipes off of the Internet or just make things up as I go along, when I want something dependable and pleasing to a broad range of tastes, this is the book I turn to. I would especially recommend this for young people just starting out on their own.
