(More customer reviews)Gee, did the other reviewer and I use the same cookbook? We have Mable's original Crockery Cookbook and now this one. In both, the recipes are easy to follow. Cheesecloth is easy to buy in the supermarket and we don't use trivets in the crockpot (canning rings do the job nicely, too). Both my wife and I take turns selecting a dish and do some prep work the night before (chopping vegetables, browning if need be). In the AM, it takes just a few minutes to take the ingredients out of the refrigerator and setting up the crockpot. The house smells heavenely when we come home. We use her recipes at least 3 times a week and have even made cakes and breads in the crockpot as well. A winner!
