Instead of saying exactly what the recipe calls for it gives you ideas of what to combine based on what you have on hand - no fancy ingredients to shop for!!! Also has really easy measuring (ie: a handful of vegies per person). The recipes are really quick to make and are easy enough for kids to help make supper. This book has taken the stress out of that "just home and have to get supper on the table hour!!!!"
