(More customer reviews)I found that this cookbook is great in theory but many of the ingredients were just plain wierd or things you would not usually have on hand. I grocerey shop for my family and some of the prepared ingredients I have never seen on a regular grocery store shelf. For example "can of diced tomatoes with burgundy wine and olive oil" and also the heavy use of prepared items would not make the recipes in this book very budget friendly. I think that the few minutes saved using these recipes would not be worth the high cost of preparing the dish itself. There are other books that do a better job of mixing fast with cost effective and if you decided to prepare the ingredients yourself to save money then the book loses its appeal all together. On the otherhand there are some interesting recipes that I haven't tried yet but do look pretty good, especially the breakfast items.
