(More customer reviews)I am a man. A man who loves to eat. What I normally love to eat, however, is food that tastes good, but isn't exactly what you would call healthy. Don't get me wrong, I want to be healthy, but health food typically isn't quite palatable and my desire for good-tasting food takes over.
HOWEVER! My wife has started making recipes from this book, and suddenly the gross-tasting health food of the past is over for me! This recipe book has a lot of great recipes like, whole wheat pancakes (even better with blueberries), butternut squash pasta, and even whole wheat pizza (which I'm amazed actually tastes good-I'm picky with my pizza).
This book helped us incorporate whole wheat into our diet without sacrificing taste. I highly recommend it!
