This is a light-hearted cookbook that combines contemporaryhigh protein recipes with historic reference to the legend of AlferdPacker, Colorado's notorious cannibal. The recipts are everyday mealsprepared in the Spurr household, although the names have been adaptedespecially for this fun book. Illustrated with drawing from Harper'sWeekly of 1874, and photos from the Colorado Historical Society.
