(More customer reviews)Giving this book 5 stars was easy. Bob Blair was married to my grandmother's sister. The recipes in the last chapter are my relatives on my dad's side of the family. There has never been a better cook than my grandmother, Mildred Hancock Schmitt. Too bad more of her recipes were not written down.

Robert Blair has experienced 86 years of cooking and being cooked for in some pretty unusual places and circumstances. The recipes in this book are a compilation of unique camping and oil field fare (particularly in the Four Corners Region), a variety of home cooking passed down from generations, and some of Blairs favorite recipes.
